ASME SA516 kelas pengantar:
SA516 kelas 55, SA516 kelas 60, SA516 kelas 65, SA516 kelas 70. . These 4 grades are mainly defined by their different tensile and yield strength range, which is influenced by content of Carbon. Ke-4 kelas ini terutama ditentukan oleh rentang tarik dan kekuatan luluh yang berbeda, yang dipengaruhi oleh kandungan Karbon. For example sa 516 grade 70 has the highest tensile and yield strength range due to the highest Carbon content(up to0.28%). Misalnya sa 516 grade 70 memiliki rentang kekuatan tarik dan kekuatan luluh tertinggi karena kandungan Karbon tertinggi (hingga 0,28%). For higher grade like sa516 gr-70 steel plate, preheating might be needed for metal arc welding process, especialy with thick steel plate.
